Dragon Drascombe and Just Lugger Joinery will be taking part in this event on 25 February 2023
The Drascombe Association is gathering to celebrate its past and future, in the M SHED, which is a beautifully upgraded event facility in Bristol, and is perfect for bringing together the members of the association and organisations who have an interest and who commercially support the enjoyment of Watkinson design boats.
The DA shop and other Association Posts and functions will be represented and participants in the convention will be able to discuss Association business and avail of DA services. Some DA information and awards will be made at the event The M SHED has an extensive events room which will accommodate these focal points for entities and DA elements that will participate.
The scale of the event in Bristol is unprecedented and DA is committing financial resources to develop and ensure that this event is a successful occasion and an opportunity for members. This means that it is necessary to book your place. The day time participation is free of charge to the first 50 members and guests, the contribution for the evening cocktail and dinner is £45pp. You will have opportunity to explore the museum, explore the potential of our boats, meet the names in the Forum and on the pages of DAN, and learn from our partners while having a jolly good time amongst friends.
The programme for the event is
0900 – Reception refreshments – Participants can visit the museum.
1000 – Registration, Mid morning refreshments
1200 – 2 course Buffet lunch
1300 – Meet & greet Partners and DA & Partners’ focal points.
1400 – Some presentations Q&A session on association activities.
1500 – William Hodshon – “Circumnavigation of the UK by Wayfarer”
1600 – Association Awards ceremony
1630 – Break in proceedings to allow venue to be configured for dinner
1800 – Dinner following a Cocktail – A vegetarian food option available
