As a recommendation from a very good client of Dragon Drascombe, John and Fiona with two daughters joined me out in the South Ionian Sea just over a week ago. A family from near Edinburgh, they had a wealth of sailing experience, especially in small boats, so once having had my introduction to the boat and its own peculiar ways they were all set for exploring and sailing on their own.
The afternoon breeze was a delight for sailing and especially to keep a degree of coolness. A fantastic week was had and for Fiona’s “Special Birthday” they flew out of Corfu bound for Geneva and a week’s walking in the Chamonix region of the French Alps.
Thanks for a great holiday – we all thoroughly enjoyed our time in Geni Gardens with “Tiki”!
