As followers of my website will know, over the years I have held individual sail training for single boat crews and family groups. This has worked well as will be noted from the reviews, notably the one submitted by Bruce Nelson in 2023
For the coming summer of 2025 I will be expanding this area of sail training and have 5 boat groups in at one time and to assist me I will have experienced Drascombe sailing staff to help with on board tuition.
I will provide an initial format for crews to become acquainted with prior to the course commenced, such things like basic terminology, an understanding of wind direction and related sail positions etc, so we kick off at a good starting point in order to get on the water quickly since there is limited time in just one week.
The minimum crew will be 2 persons and the max will be a family group of 4 including children.
The 2 dates are:
24 May to 31 May
28 May to 4 June
Both for now are base based at Geni Garden Apartments and be in 2/4 bed apartments, however, there could be a possibility of the first course to be based at the Athesis Hotel near Nidri

The package will include the following
1. Taxi transfers to and from Preveza airport
2. Apartments of choice at Geni Garden
3. The charter of a fully equipped Lugger and all fuel
4. Theoretical and onboard sail tuition
5. For the later stage of the course there will be supervised sea passages to islands and harbours accompanied by our tender or rib.
